The Chair, Executive Secretary and Communication and Knowledge Management Officer of GWP-WA paid a support visit to the Country Water Partnership (CWP) of Niger from 09 to 14 April 2018. The purpose of the visit was to provide support to the Niger CWP for greater visibility among the authorities and strategic partners in the country in order to accompany it in carrying out its missions. The delegation accompanied by the CWP had meetings with authorities and some strategic partners.

The 16 members (including 9 women and 7 men) of the Sidwaya association of Ramitenga benefited from a training on Associative Life and the good keeping of administrative and accounting documents on 16, 17 and 18 December 2019.

The Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction is a biennial multi-stakeholder forum established by the UN General Assembly to review progress, share knowledge and discuss the latest developments and trends in reducing disaster risk. In 2019, it is held 13-17 May in Geneva, Switzerland.

Hanoi, 4 December 2018 -- The main reason behind the Workshop on the Development of SDG IWRM Action Plan was to bring up the concept of "IWRM” - Integrated Water Resources Management - to the discussion table. The Country Water Partnership of Benin (CWP Benin) held a two- day partners’ meeting to review statutory texts and renew its organs. The event took place on 14 and 15 December 2017 in Cotonou.

Stockholm World Water Week (WWW) is an annual focal point for the globe’s water issues. It is organised by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI). This year, the event takes place on 26-31 August. As in previous years, GWP will be involved in many of the sessions.
