Building on the success of the events held in 2013 and 2016, Hungary will host the third Budapest Water Summit in 2019. Under the patronage of H.E. Mr János Áder, President of Hungary, the conference will take place on 15-17 October 2019. The conference is organised by the Government of Hungary.
The global GWP secretariat in Stockholm seeks a consultancy for support to the formulation of GWP Strategy 2020-2025. The objective is to draft and finalise the GWP 2020-2025 Strategy document, in close coordination with the secretariat, via the design and implementation of a collaborative and consultative process involving key GWP stakeholders.

The sessions highlighted climate and water linkages in national frameworks such as the National Determined Contributions (NDCs), the National Adaptation Plans (NAPs), and various investment mechanisms.
