The main objective of the "Water for Growth and Poverty Reduction in the Mekrou Sub-Basin in Niger - Mekrou Project Phase 2 - NIGER" is to "support green economic growth and poverty reduction in the portions of the Nigerien territory located in the Mekrou River Basin and its area of influence through integrated and concerted water management in developing areas".
The Republic of Congo Country Water Partnership (CWP Congo) has been accredited by the Executive Secretary of Global Water Partnership, Monika Weber-Fahr. The accreditation letter which was signed on June 12, 2020 makes CWP Congo the 4th CWP to be accredited within the GWP-CAf Network.
This national training of trainers workshop will be held in The Bahamas and put on by CapNet (Caribbean WaterNet) in collaboration with The University of the West Indies (UWI), Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C), the Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI), the Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA) and The Bahamas Agricultural Health and Food Safety Authority (BAHFSA).
This national training of trainers workshop will be held in The Bahamas and put on by CapNet (Caribbean WaterNet) in collaboration with The University of the West Indies (UWI), Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C), the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC), the Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI) and The Bahamas Agricultural Health and Food Safety Authority (BAHFSA).
The Global Water Partnership - in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank, Climate Change Commission-Philippines, the Government of Palau, Asia-Pacific Water Forum, Japan International Cooperation Agency, UN Environment, and the Asia Pacific Adaptation Network - is organising, in consultation with the Green Climate Fund, a Technical Workshop on Project Preparation for Transformational Climate Resilience Water Project Concepts in Asia. The workshop is held 15-16 October at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Headquarters in Manila, Philippines.
