The Chair, Executive Secretary and Communication and Knowledge Management Officer of GWP-WA paid a support visit to the Country Water Partnership (CWP) of Niger from 09 to 14 April 2018. The purpose of the visit was to provide support to the Niger CWP for greater visibility among the authorities and strategic partners in the country in order to accompany it in carrying out its missions.
The delegation accompanied by the CWP had meetings with authorities and some strategic partners.
"Advancing Non-Conventional Water Resources Management in Mediterranean islands and coastal areas: local solutions, employment opportunities and people engagement," is a regional conference organized in Malta on May 10-11 to celebrate the 10years of the NCWR Programme in the Mediterranean.

SDGs refer to a set of goals to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all as part of a new sustainable development agenda. Each goal has specific targets to be achieved over the next 15 years (2016-2030). GWP China focuses on SDG#6, the Energy Foundation on SDG#7, and WRI on SDG#2, which makes three lead players integrating the goals from a multilateral aspect.
