Five experts, a Special Advisor and a Gender Expert have been appointed to join GWP-SA-Africa Coordination Unit to boost the drive towards the SADC industrialization, job creation and the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agenda.

Within the framework of the adoption of a National Water Policy in Central African Republic, a stakeholder workshop was organized in Bangui on August 24, 2020 by the Ministry of Energy Development and Water Resources with the support of UNICEF and the Central African Republic Country Water Partnership (CWP CAR).
The Republic of Congo Country Water Partnership (CWP Congo) has been accredited by the Executive Secretary of Global Water Partnership, Monika Weber-Fahr. The accreditation letter which was signed on June 12, 2020 makes CWP Congo the 4th CWP to be accredited within the GWP-CAf Network.
