Trinidad & Tobago Stakeholder Consultation - Reporting on SDG Indicator 6.5.1 (Degree of IWRM Implementation)

The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) has been assisting UNEP in reaching out to Caribbean countries (through their SDG 6.5.1 Focal Points) to undertake the second round of reporting on SDG Indicator 6.5.1 – Degree of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) implementation.

Trinidad and Tobago will be the first Caribbean country under the SDG 6 IWRM Support Programme to begin the second-round assessment of the country’s degree of IWRM implementation. This will be done by means of a two-day online Stakeholder Consultation on April 29th and 30th, 2020. They are also the first country to implement a 100% online method for this Stakeholder Consultation. The Consultation is being coordinated by the Ministry of Public Utilities (MPU) of Trinidad and Tobago who is responsible for the national reporting on SDG Indicator 6.5.1. Read more here.
