The 2-day Capacity Building Workshop was organised on 16 & 17 December 2020 in the context of the SEE Nexus Project that is supported by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) and implemented by GWP-Med in partnership with the UNECE. The workshop was implemented by the Connecting Natural Values & People Foundation (CNVP).
GWP WA is collaborating with the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) to support the Volta Basin Authority (VBA) to integrate flood and drought management and develop early warning for its climate change adaptation measures.
GWP Cameroon, in collaboration with the Centre for Environmental and Development Studies in Cameroon (CEDC), organised a training workshop in Maroua on 13 February for ten women leaders from two communities (Meri and Mokolo) affected by fluorosis. The training was focused on how to use fluoride removal filters and was the result of a project on how to improve WASH services.
