The Global Water Partnership - Mediterranean (GWP-Med) is seeking to hire an Institutional & Legal Expert in the framework of the WACDEP project, for the account of the North-Western Sahara Aquifer System (NWSAS) Consultation Mechanism, to conduct the study on "Evaluation and options suggestion for the legal and institutional framework of the North-Western Sahara Aquifer System (NWSAS) Concertation Mechanism"

World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and Global Water Partnership South Asia (GWP SAS) will be jointly organising ‘Climate Services User Forum (CSUF 27 and 28 April 2016) for the Water Sector in South Asia’ in association with WMO’s South Asian Climate Outlook Forum (SASCOF-8) in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The Global Water Partnership – Mediterranean (GWP-Med) had been selected and serves as the overall coordinator for these “MENA Focus” events. The sessions were organized in partnership with a number of international regional institutions and organisations. “Strengthening Water Governance through Integrity and Sustainable Financing” was the second out of the four sessions, held on the 30th of August.

Under the Strategic Goal 1 Catalyze Change, the WACDEP Programme of GWP China Region stresses cross-regional cooperation, sector plan optimization, investment on recycling renewable resources, south-south promotion and a good lesson of utilizing the water rights market.
