The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) will be hosting its THIRD virtual Caribbean Science Symposium in March 2025. In this Call for Papers you are invited to submit either an extended abstract or an outline of a poster for consideration on any one of the Symposium’s Themes, see below.
The Regional Council of GWP SAS nominated the Executive Director/CEO of GWP Pakistan/Pakistan Water Partnership (PWP), Mr Sardar Muhammad Tariq as the new Regional Chair (Interim), starting from 15 January 2024 through the end of the year.
The largest international gathering of water stakeholders, held every three years, the 10th World Water Forum - 'Water for Shared Prosperity' - was held in Bali, Indonesia, from 18 – 25 May, as the culmination of a multi-annual political, thematic and regional preparatory process. It attracted 64,000 participants and visitors from 160 countries.

From 19th to 22nd September 2023, the 4th General Assembly meeting took place, hosted by the University of Milan. This gathering was set in the vicinity of Iseo Lake in the charming Italian town of Iseo. It brought together 60 representatives from the project consortium, offering them a platform to discuss the progress of their work.
Kara, 13 August 2025 — Following in the footsteps of Mali, Benin, Côte d'Ivoire and Burkina Faso, Togo has taken a major step forward in participatory governance of the Volta Basin. Following a national workshop held in Kara, the country officially established a National Coordination of Natural Resource Users, thereby demonstrating its commitment to sustainable, inclusive and concerted management of the basin's resources.
