The Ministry of Water and Irrigation (Tanzania), together with the African Ministers Council on Water (AMCOW) Secretariat, is organizing the 6th Africa Water Week to be held at Mwalimu Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre, Dar es Salaam from 18th – 22nd July, 2016. The Tanzania Water Partnership has been coopted by the Ministry of Water and Irrigation as one of the lead institutions constituting the National Organizing Committee (NOC) for the 6th Africa Water Week. Several members of TWP are part of the NOC. 

By the end of 2020, GWP PAN-Asia has successfully implemented the PAN-ASIA SDG Learning Exchange on Monitoring and Reporting of SDG Indicator 6.5.1 Degree of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) Implementation. The report has been finalized in 2021 and therefore the network discussed the outreach Plan of the report, as well as another regional agendas.

El FVC tiene el mandato específico de promover un desarrollo impulsado por el país, resiliente al clima y bajo en carbono. Se espera que este se convierta en un canal principal a través del cual fluirá la financiación pública internacional relativa al clima a lo largo del tiempo.

The Directorate of Water Resources Management and Planning (DGPRE) of Senegal in collaboration with CWP Senegal organised on 22 October 2021 a workshop with the aim of sharing the reports elaborated by the consultants and collecting the opinions of the actors of the water sector on the results of the process of accompaniment to the acceleration of the implementation of phase 2 of the IWRM Plan (PAGIRE 2).

Today, 10 October 2017, the Slovak Ministry of Environment held a press conference where a draft of a Drought Action Plan was introduced to the general public.
