In 2022, the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C), along with partner agencies, including the GEF CReW+, UNEP Caribbean Environment Programme and the Cartagena Convention Secretariat in collaboration with the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) and Caribbean WaterNet (the Caribbean arm of Cap-Net UNDP), hosted the first-ever International Online Training Programme on the "Preparation of Shit Flow Diagrams (SFDs) for Caribbean Countries."

Mali and Burkina Faso are celebrating ten years since the creation of the Joint Technical Committee for Integrated Water Resources Management (CTC-GIRE). The meeting takes place on December 18 and 19, 2023 in Bobo-Dioulasso.
The largest international gathering of water stakeholders, held every three years, the 10th World Water Forum - 'Water for Shared Prosperity' - was held in Bali, Indonesia, from 18 – 25 May, as the culmination of a multi-annual political, thematic and regional preparatory process. It attracted 64,000 participants and visitors from 160 countries.
This event showcases various drought management initiatives across Latin America and the Caribbean. It brings together experts, policy makers, and scientists who will share how droughts impact and manifest themselves in their respective countries and localities.
