Over 80 participants representing African Union Member States and Regional Economic Communities (RECs) have been trained in tracking and reporting water investments using the AIP-PIDA Water Investment Scorecard, a key tool under the African Union’s Africa Water Investment Programme (AIP).
This event showcases various drought management initiatives across Latin America and the Caribbean. It brings together experts, policy makers, and scientists who will share how droughts impact and manifest themselves in their respective countries and localities.
As part of the WMO's technical assistance to the project to strengthen climate resilience in Burkina Faso (HYDROMET-BF Project), GWP- WA has coordinated the raising of awareness of hydrometeorological risks and impacts at the end of June 2025.
