The Members of the Benin WASH alliance composed of national and international NGOs involved in the water and sanitation sector in the country, the country Coordinator and Dutch partners of WASTE and ICCO followed this workshop held from 25 to 28 February 2013.
There are no formal categorizations of floods in Malaysia but is often broadly categorized as monsoonal, flash or tidal floods. From 19 to 20 March 2015, the Country Water Partnership of Benin organized a national workshop on the ownership of the guidelines for the development of large hydraulic infrastructures in West Africa.
This workshop follows the regional one held on 17 and 18 November 2014 in Lomé, Togo. About thirty stakeholders involved in the process of conducting water works namely the public structures, NGOs, consumers, municipalities, research institutions, etc. took part in the meeting.

The All-Russian scientific-practical conference "Water Management in Russia: Achievements, Problems and Prospects" was held on October 7-9, 2014 in Yekaterinburg.
In the Maghreb region food security relies mainly on irrigated agriculture. Centralized water management which lack water users’ involvement causes problems in the quality and quantity of the resource. Alternative models, which include the management of water by users, have strengthened the innovation of small scale irrigation systems and supported the initiation of cooperatives and networks. This case illustrates the value of small scale solutions, cooperation and training.
The GWP Water, Climate and Development Programme (WACDEP) guided and inspired a National Dialogue between the Burundi Ministry of Water, Environment, Land Management and Urbanism (MEATU) and citizens over the sustainable management of the Cohoha Water Catchment in December 2013.
