La Asociación Mundial para el Agua (GWP) anuncia el nombramiento de la Dr. Ania Grobicki como la Secretaria Ejecutiva de GWP, efectivo a partir del 11 de marzo del 2009.
3‐11‐2009, El agua se evapora del texto de negociaciones del cambio climático Gobiernos, agencias de Naciones Unidas, ONGs internacionales y la sociedad civil defienden reunidos hoy en Barcelona en la celebración del Día del Agua (Water Day), para instar a los negociadores a considerar el papel crítico que el agua juega en la adaptación al cambio climático.
At the end of the Global Water Partnership’s (GWP) Consulting Partners meeting and the start of the Stockholm World Water Week, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the GWP and the European Water Partnership (EWP).
"Managing Water to Adapt to Climate Change", a film about water management in Mali, produced by GWP, GWP Mali and the Swiss Agency of Development and Cooperation is being released at COP15.
The position serves (i) the entire GWP network by developing and overseeing the organisation’s web presence to ensure that web technology enhances the GWP mission; and (ii) the GWP Secretariat by planning and implementing the use of information technology to improve efficiency, productivity, and knowledge management.
On 3rd November a ‘Water Day’ will be held alongside the Climate Change negotiations in Barcelona. The day is being convened by the GPPN, a partnership of Stakeholder Forum and Stockholm International Water Institute, in collaboration with UN Water
