The GWP-C Secretariat

The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) Secretariat is responsible for the day-to-day technical, communication, financial and administrative affairs of GWP-C.

Strategy, Workplans, Progress Reviews

The GWP network adopts multi-year strategies approved by the Partners. To implement the current strategy, 3-year work programmes and annual workplans have been developed that are approved by the global Steering Committee. Each year GWP reviews progress toward the implementation of the strategy. Please find below links to GWP's strategies. Implementing Rwanda Water Policy

On 25 April, GWP Rwanda took a first step to implement the Water Resources Management (WRM) Strategy of Rwanda by holding a workshop, jointly organized with the Netherlands Development Organization under the theme: "Towards IWRM through collaboration and partnerships between all actors at all levels".

Training Trainers on IWRM and Ecosystems

GWP Malaysia and the Global Environment Centre co-organised a Regional Training of Trainers course on Ecosystem Services and IWRM on 18-21 June 2012. It was targeted to enable greater awareness and understanding on ecosystem management based on a holistic and sustainable manner aimed at empowering relevant stakeholders in Malaysia with knowledge and skills needed to adopt the ecosystem services concept.

GWP Lithuania Launches Campaign

With its experience of being a neutral platform for negotiating river basin management plans, GWP Lithuania has been asked to act as a national information center for water resources management.
