GWP Cameroon and UNICEF signed a collaboration agreement on 23 March 2017 to implement the project "Improving the resilience of WASH services in the Mayo Tsanaga sub-basin through pilot initiatives".

The Global Water Partnership's strategy, Towards 2020, outlines the direction for GWP with the goals of catalyzing change, sharing knowledge, and strengthening partnerships for a water secure world.

Climate Resilience Programme (WACREP) Monitoring Tool is an online tool, which was developed to monitor the progress of activities undertaken by the stakeholders in participating countries in South Asia.

In contrast to prescriptive and rather rigid master water plans, an IWRM-oriented planning process takes a more flexible and dynamic approach to planning the development and management of water resources. Planning reflects the total activity in the system, whether defined as river basin, catchment, or watershed, including for example agriculture, forestry, mining, and other land uses. IWRM plans can be used to strengthen good governance within a strategic water management framework of goals, policies, and planned actions to achieve the goals. Since participation is one of the key pillars of integrated water management, stakeholders should be involved in the planning and implementation process.

The 2^nd High-Level Regional Policy Workshop focusing on “Adapting to Climate Change Induced Water Stress in Nile River Basin,” kicked off in Rwanda’s capital, Kigali, Thursday, 4^th April 2013.

Over thirty (30) regional organisations working in the areas of water and wastewater in the Caribbean, will meet in Barbados on April 28^th and 29^th, 2014 at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel, to critically explore ways of strengthening their collaboration to improve water security in the region.

The seminar Ecosystem Management and River Restoration will take place on 5 October 2017 at the Water Research Institute in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Global Water Partnership – Southern Africa (GWP-SA) will be hosting the 4th Water, Climate and Development Programme for Africa (WACDEP) Technical Coordination Workshop. The workshop will be held in Pretoria, South Africa from January 28-01 February 2013.

This demonstration project will focus on the identification of agricultural drought characteristics and will elaborate a monitoring method through the application of remote sensing data.
