On October 20, 2010 in Beijing, the WWF Beijing Office released the new book “The Management Practice on Rural Drinking Water Security Project in China” which was jointly edited by WWF and the Rural Drinking Water Safety Center of Ministry of Water Resources (MWR).
The Workshop on Health of Water and Ecology was jointly organized by the GWP China and the Ecological Society of China on December 12, 2010 in Beijing, with more than 50 participants from Eco-Environmental Research Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences, IWHR, CDC and other universities, enterprises, governmental agencies and NGOs.
The Statutes of the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) regulate the functions and organisation of the Partnership.
The WACDEP programme is an initiative of AMCOW and involves the major African organisations with competencies in water. The programme is operationalised by GWP and funded by GWP's core donors and by Austria in particular.

GWP China has established the formal partnership cooperation relationship with over 100 water-related institutions and organizations, including the government institutions, civil societies, research institutions and universities. By the end of 2016, we have set up four provincial and one river basin water partnerships, equal to country water partnerships of GWP network as GWP China is recognized as a regional partnership. They are: GWP China Fujian, GWP China Hebei, GWP China Shaanxi, GWP China Yellow River and GWP China Hunan. In 2023, we established two committees, "the Belt and Road Working Committee" and "the Marine Professional Committee." In May 2024, the Professional Committee of Watershed Carbon Neutrality of GWP China was founded. In April 2025, we set up "the Professional Committee on Water Rights and Water Markets of the Global Water Partnership China".
GWP China and GWP China Shaanxi have been involved in the planning process of the Weihe River Basin Integrated Management Plan. The Weihe River Basin Integrated Management Plan addresses several water challenges and aims to establish a sound foundation for the effective development and protection of water resources in the region.
