September 8, 2022, GWP China organized experts online and offline to contribute to the theme of "Big Data Supports Integrated Water Resources Management(IWRM)" as a side-event of the 2022 International Forum on Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals (FBAS 2022).
The Continental African Water Investment Programme "Water, Climate, Development and Gender Investments" aims to promote gender-transformative planning, decision-making, and institutional development for water secure and climate-resilient water investments and job creation interventions, in order to advance gender equality.
The multi-million dollar, GWPEA-coordinated, four-year-project, “Strengthening Drought Resilience for Smallholder Farmers and Pastoralists in the IGAD Region” (DRESS-EA), was launched on 6 October 2020 on the online platform, Zoom.
On December 15, 2021, CWP Mali with the National Directorate of Water (DNH) held a workshop to advocate for the revitalization of the National Water Council in order to accelerate the implementation of IWRM and the achievement of the SDGs in Mali.

At the 3rd and final meeting of the Steering Committee for Nexus activities in the Drina River basin, the importance of enhancing cross-sectoral and transboundary coordination in the basin was stressed.
