GWP-C in its continued efforts to support Caribbean countries in the sustainable management of their water resources has created a Rainwater Harvesting (RWH) model that can be adopted by water-scarce communities.
GWP SEA in its continued efforts to support Southeast Asia countries to share experiences and knowledge regarding climate change adaptation involving water resources management and to raise awareness on the water management related the climate change among water sector.
With the support of the Ministry of Water Resources and the Ministry of the Environmental Protection, the High-Level Round Table Meeting was jointly organized by GWP China and the Swiss Development Cooperation Agency (SDC) in Beijing, on April 8, 2010. The GWP Network with more than 2000 institutional partners worldwide, celebrated World Water Day through a number of activities: awareness campaigns on public radio, video releases, participation in seminars and workshops for students and policy makers.
GWP Myanmar and GWP Southeast Asia organised a five-day regional training-of-trainers course on river basin organisations in Yangon, Myanmar, in March. In order to meet the considerable diversity of participant needs the course was structured around short presentations and sessions for sharing experiences.

Three new members of the GWP Technical Committee have been appointed. After a worldwide search in 2009, 95 nominations were received.
