The GWP Gender Action Piece was launched in 2017 with the aim to improve gender equality and social inclusion in water resources management. The publication captures the views of 40 experts from around the world and contains four clear action areas to serve as drivers for progress. New language versions are now available: French, Spanish, and Russian. A broader audience is expected to lead to a renewed boost in interest and action.
On 27 April, GWP organised a learning exchange on the topic, “IWRM Action Planning to Accelerate Progress on SDG 6”. The event had over 150 participants who shared their experiences on how to accelerate Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) to contribute to the achievement of the water-related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

On March 29, 2023, the Belt and Road Working Committee of GWP China was established after signing the MoU between GWP China and China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC).
The founding of the Working Committee marked the exploration of the GWP China's regional network to engage the private sector.

A technical workshop was held from 20 October to 3 November 2022 in Koubri to finalize the modules and other materials for the 5th online course. The distance or e-learning includes different courses covering the whole value chain of the end-to-end early warning system for flood forecasting (E2E-EWS-FF) and the three pillars of drought management. Four online courses have already been organized from September 2021 to November 2022.
The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) is supporting the Government of Grenada through the Ministry of Agriculture, Lands and Forestry, to develop a National Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) Communications Strategy and Implementation Plan for Grenada. This will be a pivotal tool in raising awareness and promoting action on IWRM in the county. Furthermore, the Communications Strategy and Implementation Plan will be aligned to Grenada’s recently revised (2019) National Water Policy and IWRM Plan.
A two-day Gender Policy Development and Gender Mainstreaming workshop was held in Colombo on 27 and 28 July targeting the pipeline DAEs under the 2nd GCF Readiness Project in Sri Lanka.
