The Kolgweogo Association, with about 20 members, benefited from a series of training sessions on agricultural practices that aim to improve their productivity, organisation and development of economic activities; Zaï and half-moons were experimented with in order to teach beneficiaries how to transform a resistant land into a resilient and favourable land for agriculture.
The Volta Flood and Drought Management Project organized in Loumbila, Burkina Faso on October 26 to 29 the field phase to test the methodology and tools proposed for the conduct of the Flood and Drought Risk Vulnerability and Capacity Mapping mission at the community level in the Volta Basin.
On 30 September 2021, the day following his designation as new chair od GWP-WA, Mr. Abdoulaye SENE officially took up office after hand over ceremony with the outgoing chair, Prof. Amadou Hama MAIGA.
