A network of networks, we ensure the ‘voices of water’ can inﬂuence local, national, regional, and global development priorities. They share knowledge and learning across national boundaries and are expected to have an open, inclusive, and gender-sensitive policies for bringing together as wide a group of stakeholders as possible to solve water problems.

Climate resilience through water

Partnering with the Green Climate Fund, the Adaptation Fund, Multilateral Development Banks and WMO, GWP supports countries accessing climate finance to implement water-informed National Adaptation Plans and integrated flood and drought management policies and measures.

CEE Regional Council Meeting

On 21 November 2025, the GWP Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) Regional Council gathered online and introduced the GWP’s new global strategy. The meeting brought together Country Water Partnerships, the Regional Secretariat, and the GWPO Network Officer to discuss the strategy’s implications, regional priorities, and the ongoing transformation of the GWP network.
