GWP’s VISION is a water secure world. Our MISSION is to advance governance and management of water resources for sustainable and equitable development.

OUR UNIQUE VALUE: GWP mobilises action on the global water crisis through a unique combination of social capital, shared values, credibility within the global water community, bottom-up orientation, and expertise. A network of networks, we ensure the ‘voices of water’ can inﬂuence local, national, regional, and global development priorities. We are committed to our role as a neutral convener and respected for our focus on inclusiveness and sustainability.

GWP Regions

This is where you can find links to the websites of our Regional Water Partnerships (RWPs). RWPs are closest to the countries where we work. They share knowledge and learning across national boundaries and are expected to have an open, inclusive, and gender-sensitive policies for bringing together as wide a group of stakeholders as possible to solve water problems.

GWP Network Meeting 2021 - Please Join Us!

The 2021 edition of GWP's annual Network Meeting of Partners will take place online on 1-2 December, under the theme ‘Leading Change and Innovation through our Partners.’

Last year’s annual Networking Meeting of Partners involved over 500 participants, from more than 70 countries, who offered up innovative solutions to water challenges. Will you join us this year?

This is your opportunity to engage directly with other GWP Partners and with your GWP regional and global peers.

You will also have the chance to take a virtual tour of our exciting new GWP ToolBox – IWRM Action Hub during the event! This new innovative resource is an accomplishment to mark our 25th Anniversary, which we will celebrate during the Opening Session.

NETWORK MEETING 2021: FORMAT

The format has no region-specific sessions. All sessions are open to all regions, and you can join whenever it fits your schedule and time zone. Interpretation will be available in the plenary sessions (languages: Spanish, French, Russian, Chinese) and, depending on demand, in the Breakout Groups (two of the Breakout Groups will be interpreted in all languages, see below which ones and when) .

The Network Meeting consists of ten sessions run over two days (1–2 December). Some of the sessions are on the same topic, but on different days, to allow for different regions/time zones to participate.
