The tenth Assembly of Partners of GWP West Africa held on September 2021 in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso on the theme "Covid-19 Crisis Response Strategy for Water Security and Sustainable Development in West Africa”.
Representatives of national authorities, stakeholders and regional institutions from the Mediterranean acknowledged the need for a Strategic Framework for the WEFE Nexus in the Mediterranean’s source to sea continuum at the 1st Regional Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems Nexus Roundtable in the Mediterranean organised in the framework of the GEF UNEP/MAP MedProgramme.

The Third Regional Steering Committee for the DRESS-EA project took place on 12th October 2022, in Nairobi, Kenya. The regional coordination including the International Water Secretariat (ISW) and Global Water Partnership West Africa (GWP-WA), the national coordination composed of the Country Water Partnership of Benin, the Country Water Partnership of Burkina Faso and the NGO Young Volunteers for the Environment (YVE) Togo met with the delegates of the youth groups from the three countries during a regional meeting from 12 to 16 September 2022, in Natitingou, Northern Benin.

From 04 to 07 January 2022, the CWP Senegal (PNES) through its Chair has carried out a mission to Matam in the framework of the implementation of the component : "Hydro-agricultural development and protection of water resources", of the development program of the Dioulol watershed implemented by the National Company for the Development and Exploitation of the lands of the Senegal River Delta (SAED) through activities to fight against the silting up of the Dioulol river, which constitutes the source of water for a large number of perimeters including Hamady Ounaré and Orkadiérè rehabilitated during the first phase of the project.
