Sewagudde Sowedi, is the Acting Commissioner in charge of International and Transboundary Water Affairs, working with the Ministry of Water and Environment, Uganda. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Water Science and Engineering –Hydro-informatics from the Institute of Water Education (IHE), Delft Netherlands and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering from Makerere University, Kampala Uganda. He is a hydrological engineer by profession with 19 years of hands-on experience. He is proficient in analysing watershed hydrology and knowledgeable in models and decision support systems applied to water based systems.
