How does GWPEA go about these challenges? Which approaches, resources and solutions?

GWP and its partners launched the Partnership for the Preparation of Water Projects Resilient to Climate Change in Africa at a workshop in Johannesburg from 19 to 21 September 2018.

The Central and Eastern Europe region, covered by the Global Water Partnership, has a population of 152 million people, a quarter of all Europeans.

Working towards a new paradigm on integrated water management

A training workshop was held on effective regulation targeted at Catchment officers due to their future roles in the catchment regulations, facilitation of the development of Catchment Management Plans (CMPs) and production of Water Charters to be signed by riparian State Governments within the hydrological area. The training was held on 2^nd and 3^rd February 2016.

 

On January 31, 2018, the Chair of Global Water Partnership (GWP) visited the Ministry of Water Resources of China (MWR) in Beijing, China to promote a closer relationship between two parties.

The African Development Bank (AfDB) is supporting financially the establishment of the ECOWAS Regional Water Observatory and the technical support will come from the UNEP-DHI Water and Environment partnering with GWP/WA as a consortium.

India Water Partnership (IWP) in collaboration with Nirmal Hindon Initiative, 2030 Water Resources Group, WAPCOS Ltd. and Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritag’s (INTACH’s) Natural Heritage Division organised a Technical Workshop on knowledge Sharing and Capacity Building of Stakeholders for Preparing the Road Map for Collective Action for Hindon River Rejuvenation on 9 June 2018 at the Office of Commissioner, Meerut Division (Uttar Pradesh).
