GWP Bhutan or Bhutan Water Partnership was established with the support of multiple of senior officials from the Royal Government of Bhutan. Dr Lam Dorji being the youngest Chair of GWP South Asia served from 2016-2018 at the Regional Water Partnership.
A high-level delegation composed of the Secretary General, the Director of Legislation of the Ministry of Water and Sanitation and the Permanent Secretary of PANGIRE Niger carried out a study tour in Burkina Faso from 19 to 23 December 2022, on the theme "integrated management of rainwater for different uses".
The training session enabled participants to acquire knowledge on the prevention and management of conflicts related to the use of natural resources in the Mekrou sub-basin in Niger.
