The 2021 edition of the European Development Days (EDD21) will take place on 15-16 June. The event is fully digital, and the theme is "The Green Deal for a Sustainable Future". On the first day, the SDG 6 IWRM Support Programme, which GWP coordinates in partnership with UNEP, UNEP-DHI Centre and Cap-Net UNDP, will be featured in a session on "Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) to accelerate progress on the SDGs". Registration for all sessions is now open.
On 23rd of March, just after the World Water Day, GWP CEE was invited to organize a Communication for Development session at the World Youth Parliament for Water General Assembly event.
The Climate Adaptation Summit (CAS) 2021 takes place online on 25-26 January. It is a global conference that promises to accelerate, innovate, and scale up the world’s efforts in adapting to the inevitable effects of climate change. On March 24, 2022, the National University of Public Service in Budapest, Hungary, conferred an honorary doctorate on Jerome Delli Priscoli, GWP’s Technical Committee Chair from 2016 to 2022.
