In December 2022, Global Water Partnership Southeast Asia utilized its e-survey platform for water and sanitation hygiene to assist Safe Water Gardens in increasing access to safe and proper sanitation at Busung Village, Bintan Regency. GWP-SEA’s regional coordinator, Fany Wedahuditama lead the training for the enumerators and supervisors on how to use the e-survey on their android phone.

GWP CEE, together with external consultants, created a recovery position paper as a response to the current pandemic, and its influence on water sector in the CEE region.

Kenneth Alfaro Alvarado is Project Cooridinator for Water Pollution Prevention at Nicoya Peninsula Waterkeeper in Costa Rica. The non-profit organisation has been a GWP Partner since 2013 - their motivation to join the GWP network was a wish to participate in the processes around Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM). Real Water Savings (REWAS) in agriculture online training for Indonesia was the latest collaboration between GWP-SEA Regional Secretariat and FAO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific. Real Water Savings (REWAS) is a simple tool to estimate the potential for generating real water savings from various agronomic, water management and technical practices in irrigated agriculture. The tool was developed by Future Water as part of RAP’s developing regional program on water scarcity in Asia and the Pacific. So far successful trainings have been held in Nepal, Viet Nam, Malaysia, Thailand and Iran, with very positive feedback from participants.
