Representatives of the Central African Youth for Water and Climate Network (RECOJAC) in the Central African Republic officially met with the Central African Republic Country Water Partnership to discuss better collaboration for the promotion of IWRM in the country

The steering committee of the GCF Readiness program in the Central African Republic met for the first time on October 26th, 2022, in Bangui.

Budapest Water Summit 2019 took place on 15-17 October, and GWP took the opportunity to ask youth about their experience with GWP. Joanna O’Keefe from Poland said that GWP introduced her to a completely new world: “I knew scientific conferences, but now I also get involved with policy making events and political events.”

Dr. Paulette Bynoe is a Senior Lecturer and the Interim Deputy Dean of the School of Graduate Studies and Research, University of Guyana. She is also a current member of the GWP Caribbean Steering Committee. In this interview, she describes the University of Guyana and its partnership with GWP, which started in 2010.

On 16 November, the Transboundary Freshwater Security Governance Train stopped at its last destination for this year. Participants had the chance to learn about water diplomacy and negotiation, as well as the tools and methods that can be used to peacefully settle conflicts over shared waters.
