Increase risk knowledge through the risk maps and climate scenarios developed, to get the involvement and engagement of stakeholders through an improved awareness of disaster risk assessment and risk modelling for floods and droughts in the Volta basin, this is the general objective of the series of 6 national workshops organized in the Volta basin riparian countries throughout the month of April 2022.
On November 24 and 25, 2021, took place the capacity building workshop of the executives in charge of planning and programming of the Ministries of Water, Living Environment and Sustainable Development, as well as some national and regional NGOs intervening in the water and climate sectors.

By the end of 2018, GWP-SEA and the partners in Indonesia has successfully established a stepping stone to better-delivering water management through the formulation of a position paper on the inclusion of community-based water and sanitation program. Most of the recommendation was adopted by the new Water Bill that was enacted in 2019. Following this success, in 2020 GWP-SEA has further its collaboration with the private sectors in Indonesia to become one of the founding members of the Indonesia Water Coalition. To formalize the collaboration the charter signing ceremony was held.
The water pole of the Gaston Berger University of Saint-Louis (partner of the CWP) organized a workshop with the aim of providing feedback from the World Water Forum held in Dakar from 21 to 26 March 2022.
