IHE Delft Institute for Water Education is one of the partners of the Water ChangeMaker Awards. We spoke with Eddy Moors, who is the Rector, and he explained the reason why they joined: “I think it's quite important that we learn from one another and I think the ChangeMakers programme and awards is offering the possibility to exchange with an even wider community than the alumni at IHE has already.”
From January to May 2021, the Mekrou Phase 2 Niger Project management team (PMT) has continued with the implementation of planned activities including contract signing with the consultant firms that were selected at the end of the bid for tender to carry out two main studies in the project implementation zones and start of the study processes.
The world’s most significant annual summit on climate change, COP26, came to an end on 12 November after two weeks of discussions and meetings to tackle some of the globe’s most pressing problems.
Climate Week NYC 2020 is held 21-27 September, composed of hundreds of digital events from around the world, as well as some physical events in New York City, USA. The week is hosted by the Climate Group, in association with the United Nations and the City of New York.

The International Water Association (IWA) is organising the first IWA Digital Water Summit - the original dates were set to 27-30 April in Bilbao, Spain, however due to the worldwide Corinavirus crisis new dates have been announced: 30 November - 3 December. The event is designed to bring together water technology providers and water utilities with a focus on business and industry.
Over 350 individuals and groups from over 80 countries submitted their personal experience of having influenced water decisions to build climate resilience by the Water ChangeMaker Awards deadline, June 14. Thank you to all the ChangeMakers who shared their stories and to the ChangeMaker Partners who helped mobilise and spread the word. We now enter the next phase of the Awards: the screening and the judging.
In May 3-10, 2021, CWP-Georgia and CWP-Kyrgyzstan held a meetings round to exchange of experience on two topics: SDG 6.5.1 implementation and transboundary rivers management.
