The Lanka Rain Water Harvesting Forum (LRWHF) promotes and fosters research and development in Sri Lanka by disseminating and sharing experiences on rainwater harvesting technology, conservation and utilization methods for solving the water problems of the nation. Dr. Tanuja Ariyananda, CEO of LRWHF, shares an overview of the organisation and its collaboration with GWP.

On 21 June 2023, the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC), in collaboration with Zambia’s Ministry of Energy, and the Ministry of Agriculture handed over the Katapazi WEF Nexus Demonstration Project to the community. The project is located in Katapazi area of Kazungula District, Southern Province in Zambia.

The 6th PIDA Week was postponed in 2020, but it is now set to take place 18-21 January. The event is hosted by the Government of South Africa under the auspices of the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC). Water Knowledge Europe is the specialized brokerage event of Water Europe (WE) that allows participants to network, exchange knowledge and experiences, and to collaborate with key actors from across the water value chain. A digital summer edition of the event takes place on 15 July.

On April 21, the High-level consultation meeting "Challenges and solutions for water sector of Mongolia" was held under the auspice of the President of Mongolia at the Government House in Ulaanbaatar.
