GWP-CAf invites all its Partners to the Annual Network Meeting of GWP Partners 2020, which will take place online on 21-22 October, under the theme ‘Bringing the Change’.
Nine partners from six Central European countries, in a framework of the FramWat project, developed a practical guidance for planning Natural (Small) Water Retention Measures (N(S)WRM) in the river basins.
Driven by GEF IW: Learn, with contributions from leading organisations, and produced by Global Water Partnership (GWP), this online course delivers lectures and case studies derived from the experience of 80 experts.
The Young Caribbean Water Entrepreneurs Shark Tank Competition is an initiative of the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) and was first launched in 2019.
The finalists of the Water ChangeMaker Awards have been announced at the 2020 GWP Network Meeting. Oyun Sanjaasuren, Director of External Affairs for the Green Climate Fund, Chair of the stage two Water ChangeMaker thought leaders’ jury and former GWP Chair, presented the 12 change journeys that now enter the final stage of the Awards.
GWP wants to learn from its Partners about their experience and engagement with the GWP network. The 2020 GWP Network Meeting concluded on 22 October, with over 900 GWP Partners signed up for the virtual event and others watching the Facebook Live feed (not covered the EURASIA ses-sion). The overall theme was ‘Bringing the Change’ in the context of the GWP 2020-2025 Strategy and as the world faces a pandem-ic. The session covers the global plenary session (Opening and closing) and 3 continental sessions; Latin America and Caribbean, EURASIA, as well as Africa and the Mediterranean.
