GWP’s VISION is a water secure world. Our MISSION is to advance governance and management of water resources for sustainable and equitable development.

A network of networks, we ensure the ‘voices of water’ can inﬂuence local, national, regional, and global development priorities. GWP Regions

This is where you can find links to the websites of our Regional Water Partnerships (RWPs). RWPs are closest to the countries where we work. The right to safe water in Southeast Asia

The human right to safe water is fundamental to leading a life with dignity. It is indivisible from, and the foundation for, achieving many other internationally recognised human rights. Yet approximately 844 million people live without access to safe water worldwide. Around 110 million of those people live in Southeast Asia (hereafter ASEAN).

Read the Raoul Wallenberg Institute's report on the history of the human right to safe water, and its contemporary relevance to Southeast Asian nations – in collaboration with Chinadialogue. GWP-C Provides Support to the Government of Grenada to Develop A National IWRM Communications Strategy and Implementation Plan

The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) is supporting the Government of Grenada through the Ministry of Agriculture, Lands and Forestry, to develop a National Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) Communications Strategy and Implementation Plan for Grenada. This will be a pivotal tool in raising awareness and promoting action on IWRM in the county. Furthermore, the Communications Strategy and Implementation Plan will be aligned to Grenada’s recently revised (2019) National Water Policy and IWRM Plan.

TFTC pilot actions lessons learning

The TonFuturTonClimat project is a response of GWP-WA and the International Secretariat for Water (ISW) to the November 2016 Call for Proposals of the International Climate Cooperation Program (PCCI) funded by the Government of Quebec and aimed at reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and adapting to the impacts of climate change (CC) in the most vulnerable French-speaking countries.

TFTC benefitting to 45,000 individuals in three countries, project review meeting says

From 2 to 4 September 2019 in Lomé and Danyi-Apéyémé-Todome in Togo, GWP-WA and its partners CWP Benin, CWP Burkina Faso, Eau Vive Internationale Togo and the ISW met to review the implementation of the three country microprojects in order to draw lessons and recommendations to be taken into account for the consolidation of the results and the scaling up of the initiative.

Reimagining WASH: Water Security for 450 Million Children

The Strategic Framework for WASH Climate Resilience, developed by GWP and UNICEF, to guide implementors in climate-proofing WASH services, will be a valuable tool in UNICEF’s new drive to bring water security solutions to 450 million children and their families , living in areas of high or extremely high-water vulnerability, by 2025.
