The finalists of the Water ChangeMaker Awards have been announced at the 2020 GWP Network Meeting. Oyun Sanjaasuren, Director of External Affairs for the Green Climate Fund, Chair of the stage two Water ChangeMaker thought leaders’ jury and former GWP Chair, presented the 12 change journeys that now enter the final stage of the Awards.
The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) Technical Committee (TEC) consists of Caribbean professionals selected for their experience in different disciplines in or related to Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM).

The Caribbean Science Symposium on Water by the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) takes place virtually on March 23rd – 25th, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time (AST) on each day. The theme of the event is “Building Resilience in the Regional Water Sector to Address Climatological and Hydrological Risks and Threats.”
Over 350 individuals and groups from over 80 countries submitted their personal experience of having influenced water decisions to build climate resilience by the Water ChangeMaker Awards deadline, June 14. Thank you to all the ChangeMakers who shared their stories and to the ChangeMaker Partners who helped mobilise and spread the word. We now enter the next phase of the Awards: the screening and the judging.
After a successful first phase of implementation of the TonFuturTonClimat initiative (2018-2020), a second phase has been accepted following the February 2020 call for projects of the International Climate Cooperation Program (ICCP).
The Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) is an international conference on central issues of vital importance for global agricultural and food policies. It is held annually in Berlin, however the 2021 edition will be held online on 18-22 January. The theme is "How to Feed the World in Times of Pandemics and Climate Change". GWP's Julienne Roux will be one of the expert speakers on Monday 18 January.
