Technical Workshop on Climate Resilient Water Projects in Latin America and the Caribbean: Transformational proposal preparation concepts for the Green Climate Fund has brought together national, regional, and international entities, all of whom are important stakeholders in the GCF architecture, and are committed to contribute to important objective – to enable countries to prepare high quality climate resilience water projects that can be supported by the GCF.

On 29 November 2019, His Excellency Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, former President of Tanzania, officially took over the Chairmanship of Global Water Partnership Southern Africa and Africa Coordination Unit (GWPSA-ACU).
The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Mali invited a large Malian delegation to a working and experience-sharing visit to the Netherlands from 27 October to 6 November 2019. The Country Water Partnership (CWP) of Mali represented by the Chair, Mr. Navon CISSE was part of the delegation.
A workshop on "The status of water resources management: legal and institutional aspects” was organized to strengthen the technical capacity of women sitting as non-state members (NSA) of the national water council in order fort hem tob e active in the debates oft he NWC.
From 26 to 29 November 2019, a tour was organized to disseminate at the local level, reviews on the management of the Water, Hygiene and Sanitation sectors. The results of the report on the mapping of integrity risks in the said sector were also shared in a separate meeting.
