The Country Water Partnership (CWP) of Mali have worked on Saturday 14 November 2019 to refine the country proposal for the SDG 6.5.1 Support Programme.
Vientiane, 24 October 2018 -- The Mekong River Commission (MRC), Global Water Partnership Southeast Asia (GWP SEA), and US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) successfully organized a regional shared vision and collaborative modelling workshop for the Mekong River Basin.

The anticipated impacts of climate change have severe implications for the Caribbean’s water security and overall development. The science, research and engineering communities are starting to couple climate predictions with water security and understand the extent and nature of the risks these changes pose to regional economies, societies and environments.
Global Water Partnership (GWP), the African Union Developmental Agency AUDA-NEPAD, the African Ministers’ Council on Water (AMCOW), and Development Bank of Southern Africa held a consultative meeting on 24th November, on the development of a water investment scorecard to track progress in mobilising water investments in Africa.

The chair of CWP Guinea, Mamadou Alpha Hann together with the vice chair and executive secretary had an information meeting with the NGOs partners of the CWP on 26 May 2018.
Alioune Bagou DIARRA has been recruited as the new Executive Secretary for the Country Water Partnership of Mali from June 1ST 2018. He holds a Masters’ Degree in Water and Environment from 2IE, an advanced degree in Applied Chemistry.
