CWP Benin gathers water sector stakeholders to own the NAP development process

The water sector actors gathered on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 for a workshop to internalize and appropriate of the elaboration process of the National Adaptation Plan to Climate Change (NAP). This meeting was organized with the technical support of the Directorate General of Environment and Climate in the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development (MCVDD).

SADC-EU WEF Nexus Workshop

The Global Water Partnership Southern Africa (GWPSA) has been supporting the European Union (EU) -supported Southern African Development Community (SADC) 'Water-Energy-Food ' (WEF) nexus project since July 2017. The two expected results of the project are to establish a SADC Regional WEF Nexus Framework; and develop a prioritised list of Nexus Investment Projects. To realise the result areas, the SADC member states workshop on WEF Nexus was held on the 25th March 2018, bringing together over 150 delegates from all SADC countries.

Jakarta 2 May 2019 -- The expert Discussion 2 on the "Interpreting State Control Rights in the water Sector In Indonesia" was held in Century Hotel to gather experts opinion on how to translate the state control rights on water since the former law no 7/2004 revoked by the Indonesian Institutional Court in 2015 and the new is still in a discussion process by the Indonesian People Representative.

Chutes de Booué et Tsengue-Leledi : Les études lancées

Les études pour la réalisation des aménagements hydroélectriques de Booué et Tsengue-Leledi ont été lancées au cours d’un atelier de 48 heures à Libreville. Financées à près de 757 millions de francs CFA par la Banque africaine de développement, ces études prendront fin en février 2020.
