Global Water Partnership and Wuhan International Water Law Academy are organising an online engagement session on 27 October for those who are currently enrolled – and those interested in enrolling – in the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Transboundary Freshwater Security. The topic of the session is ‘Does the world need more International Water Law?’
From 2 to 4 September 2019 in Lomé and Danyi-Apéyémé-Todome in Togo, GWP-WA and its partners CWP Benin, CWP Burkina Faso, Eau Vive Internationale Togo and the ISW met to review the implementation of the three country microprojects in order to draw lessons and recommendations to be taken into account for the consolidation of the results and the scaling up of the initiative.

The Global Water Partnership Southern Africa (GWPSA) has been supporting the European Union (EU) -supported Southern African Development Community (SADC) 'Water-Energy-Food ' (WEF) nexus project since July 2017. The two expected results of the project are to establish a SADC Regional WEF Nexus Framework; and develop a prioritised list of Nexus Investment Projects. To realise the result areas, the SADC member states workshop on WEF Nexus was held on the 25th March 2018, bringing together over 150 delegates from all SADC countries.
The Platform’s engagement modality is country driven. Countries will provide leadership to the Platform, articulating the needs and priority support areas to advance preparation and implementation of climate resilient water projects
