Global Water Partnership-Mediterranean is seeking to hire a Programme Officer to be stationed at and support operations of its Tunis Office. The successful candidate will be hired by MIO-ECSDE, a civil non- profit society based in Greece, in its capacity as Host Institute for GWP-Med.
Activities under this focus area aim to promote gender mainstreaming in the water sector as part of implementing priority intervention P3.1 in the RSAP IV on IWRM in line with the SADC Gender Policy and the SADC Protocol on Gender and Development.
An International Training Programme on Integrated Water Resources Management (ITP/IWRM) carried out between 2005 and 2010 was funded by the Swedish cooperation to train about 150 West African professionals on IWRM. The training covered 6 successive promotions and was led by Ramboll-Natura (now NIRAS), SIWI and GWP-WA as co-organizer and "regional anchor" of the ITP IWRM courses.

Global Water Partnership Mediterranean is seeking to hire a Head of Finance and Administration for its Athens-based Secretariat. The successful candidate will be hired by MIO-ECSDE, a civil non-profit society based in Greece, in its capacity as Host Institute for GWP-Med.
A workshop was organized in Maroua, Cameroon, under the direction of the Regional Delegate of MINEE from 07 to 08 February 2018. The workshop aimed to proceed with the technical validation of the reports of studies on the vulnerability of WASH services, and on stakeholder analysis and assessment of their capacity building needs.
The GWP Steering Committee met at the global GWP secretariat in Stockholm, Sweden, on 11-13 June to discuss GWP's new strategy, governance reform, and knowledge and learning. The Committee acts as a Board of Directors and meets twice a year. While here, a few members shared stories on where they’ve seen water resources management work well for development.
On 27 December 2017, Sudan Water Partnership, with the support of GWP, convened a workshop in Khartoum, Sudan that gathered various stakeholders to discuss on SDG 6.5.1 targets and indicators.
