The World Future Energy Summit (WFES) is a global industry platform connecting business and innovation in energy, clean technology and efficiency for a sustainable future. The WFES Expo hosts over 850 exhibiting companies from more than 40 countries. It is held 14-17 January 2019 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
World Water Day (WWD) is commemorated on 22 March every year. This year’s theme was “Leaving no one behind”. GWP and its Partners worldwide supported the theme by arranging a wide range of activities. River Basin Management 2019 is the 10th Conference in a series which marks the growing international interest in the planning, design and management of river basin systems. The event will cover all aspects of Hydrology, Ecology, Environmental Management, Flood Plains and Wetlands. It takes place in Alicante, Spain.
Building on the success of the events held in 2013 and 2016, Hungary will host the third Budapest Water Summit in 2019. Under the patronage of H.E. Mr János Áder, President of Hungary, the conference will take place on 15-17 October 2019. The conference is organised by the Government of Hungary.
CWP Burkina held the inception meeting of the pilot project #TonFuturTonClimat (TFTC) on 27 and 28 September 2018 in Sapone, about 40km from Ouagadougou. This workshop was to coach the young beneficiaries of the project.
