From 20 to 27 June 2018, a mission of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) composed of consultants Caroline WITTNER and Ramesh TRIPATHI visited Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso.

GWP Mediterranean has been working actively in Jordan for over a decade, assisting the country’s water sector to meet the challenging demands it faces. Global Water Partnership, Central Africa (GWP-CAf) held its 14th Steering Committee (SC) meeting virtually on November 12 - 13, 2020. The special steering committee meeting was attended by twelve of the fourteen GWP-CAf SC members and the entire GWP-CAf secretariat.
On June 5, 2018, on the occasion of the World Environment Day, “the Forum on Youth Volunteering & Aids on River Prevention” was organised in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. This city locates within the Pearl River Delta, bordering Hong Kong to the south, spreading over nine municipalities (including Macau). It makes up part of the Pearl Delta River built-up area including 160+ rivers or channels with 447 million inhabitants reaching urbanisation up to 95%.
