A new film on the implementation of the pilot project initiated in the northern part of Benin in the Mékrou Basin has just been released by GWP West Africa. This video presents the actions carried out by the Mékrou pilot project in Benin. The Pilot Project to Support the Restoration of Ecosystems of the Head source of the Mekrou Basin (PAREM) in Benin aims to improve people’s knowledge on the impacts of climate change on the ecosystems of the head source of the basin; and to reduce the degradation of the natural ecosystems of the head source of the Mekrou.
The project implementation is coordinated by the Benin Country Water Partnership with funding from the European Union Commission.

The SADC Multi-Stakeholder Water Dialogue is an event organised by the SADC Directorate of Infrastructure and Services, Water Division to provide a forum for practitioners in the region to have a dialogue with water using and water influencing sectors. The underlying objective is to ensure that the interventions in the water sector are well communicated to the non-water sector actors and also create an environment to receive inputs from them. The National Youth Parliament for Water of Togo (PNJE Togo) organized on 7 April 2017 the second edition of the Water Night in partnership with the collaboration with the Council for Basic Sanitation in Togo (CCABT).
A workshop was organized in Maroua, Cameroon, under the direction of the Regional Delegate of MINEE from 07 to 08 February 2018. The workshop aimed to proceed with the technical validation of the reports of studies on the vulnerability of WASH services, and on stakeholder analysis and assessment of their capacity building needs.
