Pursuant to a decision of the General Assembly of Partners taking into account budgetary limits, the Secretariat has organized the meeting of the Steering Committee electronically at the end of October 2015.
On Thursday 04 June 2015, the Country Water Partnership of Ivory Coast (PNECI) participated in a sensitization workshop on the impacts of gold mining and chemicals on water resources. The ceremony was held in Krindjabo in the Southern Comoé Region whose capital is Aboisso. Organized by Green Cross Côte d'Ivoire, the meeting saw the participation of public and traditional authorities, civil society and miners. The objective of the workshop was to raise awareness for the rational management of water resources.
GWP representatives will be at the 7th World Water Forum in Korea in April, taking part in many of the events and sessions of the conference. In addition to delegates from the global secretariat, some GWP Regional Water Partnerships are actively facilitating the regional processes.

I am an International Water Resource Management expert and active in promoting water conservation and water demand management measures and practices thus promoting water use efficiency in the country. I possess broad background in social, economic, environmental and technical aspects of water resources.
The programme of ecological security of ten-kilometre river of Fujian Province was initiated by Fujian Water Resources Department and GWP China Fujian.

GWP-Med, representing on occasion also GWP, has been contributing to the OECD Water Governance Initiative (WGI)[1] since its launch in 2013. In this framework, GWP-Med participated in the 7th meeting of the WGI held on 23-24 June 2016, in The Hague, the Netherlands. The meeting brought together some 80 representatives of organizations and institutions, members to the Initiative.
