Sri Lanka Water Partnership (SLWP) organised an interactive webinar on 29 March 2017 in line with World Water Day 2017 with the aim of revamping the existing Emerging Water Professionals (EWPs) Network in Sri Lanka.

Resilient Cities - The Annual Global Forum on Urban Resilience and Adaptation - is the global platform for urban resilience and climate change adaptation, hosted in Bonn, Germany. 2017 marks the 8th edition of the Forum.
The African Development Bank (AfDB) is hosting a Partnerships Conference on 6-7 April, in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. It will create a platform for the Bank to present its experience so far in scaling up investments and leveraging donor resources in the Bank’s High 5 priority areas identified as having the most development impact for its Ten Year Strategy 2013–2022.
This summit will address key themes related to enhancing farm yields, improving nutritive value of crops, increasing farmer earnings and preserving local biodiversity. An entire session is dedicated to Water Management and Harvesting for farming.
GWP publishes Perspectives Papers to contribute to discussions on important issues related to water and development. We welcome responses to these occasional papers.
There will be three vacant positions on the GWP Steering Committee (SC) to be filled for the November 2017 Steering Committee Meeting, for terms of three years. The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) together with a broad range of partners - including GWP - launched the Global Framework for Action to Cope with Water Scarcity in Agriculture in the Context of Climate Change during the Agriculture Action Day of COP22 in Marrakech, Morocco. In April the Partners meet in Rome.
