GWP’s VISION is a water secure world. Our MISSION is to advance governance and management of water resources for sustainable and equitable development.

A network of networks, we ensure the ‘voices of water’ can inﬂuence local, national, regional, and global development priorities. GWP Regions

This is where you can find links to the websites of our Regional Water Partnerships (RWPs). RWPs are closest to the countries where we work. They share knowledge and learning across national boundaries and are expected to have an open, inclusive, and gender-sensitive policies for bringing together as wide a group of stakeholders as possible to solve water problems.

El Desafío: Capacidades inadecuadas de los países para la preparación de proyectos hídricos del FVC

El Fondo Verde para el Clima (FVC) fue establecido en 2012 como un mecanismo financiero de la Convención Marco de las Naciones Unidas sobre el Cambio Climático (CMNUCC) dedicado al abordaje de la crisis climática. El FVC tiene el mandato específico de promover un desarrollo impulsado por el país, resiliente al clima y bajo en carbono. Se espera que este se convierta en un canal principal a través del cual fluirá la financiación pública internacional relativa al clima a lo largo del tiempo.

Achieving the SDGs on Water Security and Sanitation - 6th Africa Water Week

The Ministry of Water and Irrigation (Tanzania), together with the African Ministers Council on Water (AMCOW) Secretariat, is organizing the 6th Africa Water Week to be held at Mwalimu Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre, Dar es Salaam from 18th – 22nd July, 2016. The Tanzania Water Partnership has been coopted by the Ministry of Water and Irrigation as one of the lead institutions constituting the National Organizing Committee (NOC) for the 6thAfrica Water Week. Several members of TWP are part of the NOC.

Benin, the civil society organizes a media Café on the levers towards SDG 6.2

The consultation framework of Non-State Actors in the water and sanitation sector (CANEA) organized a media café as part of the celebration of 2021 World Toilet Day (WTD). The Media Café on November 19 was organized under the theme "What levers for Benin's march towards SDG 6?”.

Mali CWP to strengthen cooperation with the NWP

The members of the Country Water Partnership (CWP) of Mali had on 02 and 03 June a meeting to exchange with the consultant recruited by the Embassy of the Netherlands to assist the CWP-MALI in the continuation of the MoU signed with the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP).

HELP-GWP consultation on Draft Principles on Investment and Financing for Water-related Disaster Risk Reduction

Global Water Partnership South Asia in collaboration with High-level Experts and Leaders Panel on Water and Disasters (HELP) and the Government of Japan is scheduled a sub-regional consultation, to gain inputs from experts and practitioners in the region on the draft principles on Investment and Financing for Water-related Disaster Risk Reduction. The consultation is scheduled for 12 October 2018 at the Yellow River Auditorium, International Water Resources Management (IWMI), Colombo, Sri Lanka.
