This paper raises important questions concerning access to piped water services, especially for the poor. As such, it could have ramifications for how communities and countries reach the water supply objectives of Sustainable Development Goal 6 and the 2030 Agenda. The paper finds that increasing block tariff (IBT) regimes fail the most basic of inclusive development tests. In the run-up to World Water Day (WWD) on March 22nd, 2016, the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) joins the entire Global Water Partnership (GWP) Network today in launching GWP’s 20^th anniversary video.

GWP PAN ASIA Workshop on ‘Innovative Urban Water Management’ is scheduled to be held on 14 and 15 July 2016 at Singapore PUB Water Hub, Singapore with the objective of promoting the exchange of experience and knowledge on innovative urban water management approaches in Asia, among the four GWP Regional Water Partnerships and key Asian Regional Organisations.
