As a member of SITWA Steering Committee on behalf of GWP / WA the regional coordinator participated in both meetings organized by SITWA in Dakar. The SITWA project 2015 progress report and the 2016 Work Plan were approved with some recommendations.
The meeting African Network of Basin Organizations statutes revised and ready to be submitted for adoption at the next General Assembly.
The SITWA is coming to the end in December 2016, and most of the activities are planned until June 2016. The remaining time in 2016 will be devoted to the activities of capitalization and setting the balance.
