The 2022 Regional Days was the 1st since COVID-19 pandemic that held in a hybrid format. For the two and half days, the participants of all the Regional Chairs, Regional Coordinators, Regional Communications Officers, Regional programme managers and GWP Global Secretariat staff discuss the important matter to support the implementation of the GWP Global Strategy.
Global Water Partnership Eastern Africa in partnership with Nile IWRM Net/Cap-Net and Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) are organising a training on applying Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) tools for Drought Risk Management. The training will take place in Uganda on 11th -13th July 2017.
Related to the GCF, the workshop will focus on building capacity of, strengthening collaboration among, and sharing lessons across the GCF National Designated Authority (NDA), Direct Access Entities (DAEs) and potential DAEs, and water ministries or national water agencies within a country, and across country. Coordination among these national level mechanisms for successful preparation and participation in the workshop will serve as a useful example of similar cross-institutional coordination required to access other climate funds.
This research summarize flood characteristics and impacts on communities in various places in the Mekong river basin through the year of existing records, with total 50 pages worth to read.

Youth Water Community Central and Eastern Europe is organising a workshop Plastic Pollution Reduction in Rivers: Current Status, Solutions and Remaining Challenges on 5 December 2017 in Tirana, Albania.
GWP South Asia attended the Transboundary Rivers of South Asia (TROSA) Annual Learning Forum 2018 held in Kathmandu, Nepal from 24 to 25 July 2018. The theme of the forum was “Partnerships for Inclusive Water Governance in South Asian River Basin Forum”.
